Data integration tools and projects I use or find interesting

Dear Data-Traveller, please note that this is a LinkedIn-Remix.

I posted this content already on LinkedIn in September 2022, but I want to make sure it doesn’t get lost in the social network abyss.

For your accessibility-experience and also for our own content backup, we repost the original text here.

Have a look, leave a like if you like it, and join the conversation in the comments if this sparks a thought!

Plain Text:

Data integration – the black hole of each data project.

To make things a bit easier.

One way is to write Ethan Aaron what kind of data you want to integrate. I heard they sometimes even offer intra-day delivery. No kidding, what they do with long-tail ETL is crazy.

But Portable is not yet available in Europe where I do my integration parts.

So another great alternative is Keboola.

They have a component with the unspectacular name “Generic Extractor”.

Here you just spent a bit of time writing some JSON. And voila, full data integration from an API endpoint(or endpoints).

I just added a simple integration of the Youtube Data API to get my channel subscribers in 15m.
